The minute I spotted Sarah I thought about a fairy tale inspired shoot.
She just looks so young and pretty.
I love the landscape at this time of the year, when blossoms are still shy. We did this right at dusk, which was perfect to get my subdued tones.
[ x] Love these

Now, some love:
Dear Mr. G,
It has been a week since you left. I miss you.
The house feels so empty. It makes me wonder how could I have ever lived for so long without you.
I want to fall asleep with you tonight.
Please come back?
Love,
P

Mr. G is currently away on a trip. So here we are, just kiwi and I- plus 3 thousand pictures.
It’s so weird how I miss him so much even though it hasn’t even been 24 hours since he left. I guess I forgot how it is to sleep by myself.
Luckily, I’ll be pretty busy until I see him again. You’ll see why.
On to our lovebirds.
I heard they were not really confident about how they performed during this session. Little they know of how picture-perfect they are.
And you can be my witnesses of that.

-My favorite-

Right?
Love,
P

I was determined to keep up with my shoots over here. FAIL.
We’re about 10 behind. So keep coming!
You know how on Wednesday we kept having occasional thunderstorms? Well, occasional coincided with this photo shoot.
We knew it was going to rain, but we decided to be tough girls and boy and try it anyways.
As you can see, it kinda worked. For about 15 minutes.
Eventually, we gave up and went indoor with our shoot. Still awesome! My thanks go to David Terry for recommending this place.
Katie & Dave were delightful, and so patient. I can’t wait for their wedding day (May 1st)!
Enjoy.
-These describe the day very well-

XOXO,
P

IF YOUR NAME IS ALEJANDRO LEAL, GO NO FURTHER. Wait 3 more days to see your bride all bride-up.
Vogue. My new best friend.
Why? Check out my recent pictures. All inspired by the eye-candy I found on this magazine.
Best part: I don’t even pay for it. Straight out of my sister’s pocket. I just steal it from her house every time I drop by “to say hello”.
-Hello Vogue-
And if you haven’t watch the movie “The September Issue”, I recommend it. It’s very inspirational.
So, this is Cindy. My always late, but always absolutely stunning bride.
I swear she’s been reading vogue too.
I found this great location while waiting for her to arrive. Just drove around and came across it. It has my heart, from now on.

Yours truly,
P

It’s been long since I gave up on having Geoffrey as my model. Yes, he has the looks (iloveyouhoney), but he hates it!
So I pulled him to my side of the camera instead. And you know what? He might steal my job.
Ladies and Gentleman, here is what my Mr. G can do:
Please pardon the model- I chose to be behind cameras for a reason
This is his favorite.

This is my favorite.

*do note my twilight face on this last one on the right.
Off to the gym!- gotta keep my modeling features up huh?
xoxo,
P

A lot of people ask me how do I pose people so that my pictures look always so passionate yet so natural.
The answer: I try them at home first.
-My husband and I-

I then adapt it to my client’s shoot.
- Cindy & Alex-

Pretty efficient, right?
Now you know.
No, really. You have to get creative.
I watch movies and pause when I think the characters just did something great together.
While I listen to a romantic song, I try to picture how it would look like if it was a photo shoot.
My magazines are all ripped apart, due to my obsession with intense pictures. I put them together, and call it “inspirational mess”.
Bottom line: I find what inspires ME, and hope it’s contagious on my shoots.
XOXO,
P
