Thursday, January 21st, 2010The Gautier’s visited Las Vegas this past weekend.
I felt fabulous the whole time for some reason. Was it the 5 star hotel? Was it the room service? Breakfast in bed? Putting on my highest heels? I can’t really tell. But I felt chic, and full of energy.
I feel so at home when I am traveling. Does that even make sense? I am a pilgrim, just waiting for the next stop. I thought marriage, buying a house, staying in the same place for a year etc etc would change that, but I guess I belong on the road. Lucky me, my husband so happens to feel the same. That’s why I can’t imagine loving someone else.
So, among many other things we did in our room (such as watching TV, eating good food and talking- you little sicko)… Mr. G and I came up with looks that tell a little bit of who we are at Spotted Photography.
It made sense at the time, I promise.
- This is me doing my “in love” face, and G being super handsome-looking as always
- This chandelier screams VANITY, but in the most beautiful way.
- Me, being silly.
- I cut his hands from the picture because they looked kinda weird (we agreed on that). It would have bothered me in other situations, but our expressions are just too true to be wasted. I love him. I love us.
- Just when I thought this one was portraying my personality, Geoff told me it looked freaky. Oh well.

Friday, January 15th, 2010Photo shoots like this remind me of why I love so much this profession. It’s so heart-warming to see a piece of who I am projected on something outside of me.
The colors on these are audacious. Some would look at them and absolutely hate them. Some would fall in love.
I love the subdued greens, and the fairy-tale look of it.
Besides the fact that she looks like Mulan-without-the-red-lipstick, of course.

Spotted: Us Vs. Hacker
Thursday, January 14th, 2010After more than a month, we finally figured out how we got hacked, and we fixed it 
No hacker can stand between my camera and I- our love stands STRONG.
So, we spent 3 weeks in Brazil. It was BEAUTIFUL. I wish I could be there every weekend.
This was my first official photo shoot in Brazilian grounds. I fell in love.
